Mick Jagger had a chance to practice his Spanish and the results were pretty good, almost as good as having the Rolling Stones returning to Mexico City after a decade.
Jagger was as full of energy as usual, more than what could be expected from a man in his seventies, jumping like a kid and singing just like the old times.
The Stones showed that they are not just a band, but an institution in the world of modern music.
Jagger even made jokes during his performance in the Foro Sol, east of Mexico City, and they were right on point.
"Sean Penn came to see me at the hotel, but I escaped from him," he said in a pretty good Spanish.
Songs like "Wild Horses," "Miss You," "Painted Black," and others rang in the scenario, and perhaps caused more than one case of tinnitus among the audience.
But it's a safe bet that everybody was pretty happy.
