Pulque and Barbacoa Fair in Mexico City

Could you resist the temptation of eating a barbacoa taco and a consomé (a lamb soup with chickpeas and rice) or a big glass of pulque full of nutrients and health benefits?

If you are a foodie, you cannot miss the opportunity to attend the Great Pulque, Barbacoa and Artisans Fair that will take place from November 15 to 17 in the Magdalena Contreras borough.

The fair will have local producers who will offer their best recipes of lamb barbacoa , both in the oven and in the traditional hole, besides consomé.

But if you want to taste more, they will also have Mexican street food such as tlayudas, jerky tacos, quesadillas, pambazos, pancita , and street corn, among other meals.

As a beverage, there will be natural pulque , mead , and curados (a traditional beverage made with pulque and fruit) made from oatmeal, lemon, coconut, mango, tomato, and pineapple, among others.

After the food and pulque , comes the time for dessert, and there will be ice creams, crepes, candied fruit, as well as flan, cake, and jelly.

This will be the fourth edition of the fair with barbacoa and pulque producers, in addition to local artisans and florists .

The event is meant for all ages and will have live music . The entrance is free.
