Popocatepétl volcano spews 115 exhalations

According to the last report provided by the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred), the Popocatépetl volcano registered 115 low-intensity exhalations and fifteen explosions during the last 24 hours.

A continuous emission of steam and gas heading to the Northeast was also observed.

26 minutes of low amplitude harmonic tremor and a 1.4-magnitude volcano tectonic event were reported.

Slight incandescence over the crater was observed at night.
