Muralist murdered in Mexico

On April 19, the home of Mexican muralist Héctor Domínguez , located in San Luis Potosí , was attacked. At 9:30 PM, a group of armed men broke into his home and shot him, his father, and his brother.

At least 15 bullets were found at the crime scene and the criminals left behind a high-caliber weapon at the home.

had been attacked on September 29, 2018 , when he was shot twice but survived. It is unknown if the authorities provided him with protection .

The artist 's work can be found all over San Luis Potosí and was been praised in Mexico and in other countries. His work reflected Mexican culture and traditions in a colorful way. The muralist was known for spreading positive messages in his murals.
