Mexican chef Daniela Soto-Innes

has become the youngest recipient of the elit™ Vodka World's Best Female Chef Award at age 28.

She received the news that she has been voted the World’s Best Female Chef in Tulum, Mexico, celebrating her engagement to fellow chef Blaine Wetzel .

Carmen, my grandma was not a normal grandma she was my second mom. Yesterday a huge part of me left this earth to be among the brightest stars. Battled cancer 5 times for 30+ years not one day went by without smiling. She taught me how to cook in her beautiful house in Coyoacán ...she was a great baker, cooked the best rice, always full of life, always caring for others, always beautiful, always dancing, always organizing parties, always so positive and so strong until she passed with a peaceful smile. Te amo abue... este mundo nunca será igual sin ti, gracias por todo... eres una diosa. Ya te extraño mi jirafa linda
