President Enrique Peña Nieto arrived in Germany accompanied by his wife, Angélica Rivera, for a three-day state visit.

They were greeted by Patricia Espinosa, Ambassador of Mexico to Germany and Jürgen Mertens, protocol director of Germany's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The purpose of his visit is to strengthen the political, economic and cultural relationship between the two countries.
