Guerrero opens 2016 with two people killed

The state of Guerrero began the New Year with two men shot to death in the municipality of Iguala and in Tepecoacuilco, where it was also reported that a residence was shot with military-grade weapons.

According to a police report, the authorities in the town of Zacacoyuca found a male body at 9:15 a.m., with a shot in the head and signs of torture.

Just an hour before, in Tepecoacuilco, a group of men shot a residence on the Dimas neighborhood for unknown causes. More than 21 bullet impacts were found in the building.

The municipal and state police pursued the aggressors, who were on board a black pickup truck. During the search operation they found the body of a man in the local bullfight arena.
