PGR releases the mayor of Cocula

The Office of the Attorney General (PGR) released the mayor Cocula, Eric Ulises Ramírez, who was under preventive prison.

Ramírez was arrested in Cuernavaca, Morelos, during a meeting with Adán Casarrubias Salgado, a leader of the Guerreros Unidos cartel, and Eloy Flores Cantú, who identified himself as an advisor to Ramirez's Democratic Revolution Party in the lower chamber of Congress.

After the arrest of cartel leader Sidronio Casarrubias, Adán assumed the control of the organization and is regarded as one of the main objectives of the main target of the new security strategy for the state of Guerrero.
