Emergency declared in San Cristóbal de las Casas
The Ministry of the Interior declared an emergency for the municipality of San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, which is facing the consequences of a massive hailstorm on July 3.
With this action, the Fund of Emergency Attention has been activated and resources can be used to provide help to the community.
After this declaration, requested by the state government, the authorities will have resources available to cover the food, shelter and health needs of the population.
