The global demand for Airbnbs during the holiday season, especially during New Year's Eve , positioned Mexico City as the fastest growing city within the platform .
The company reported that the Mexican capital generated a 117% increase in reservations, higher than any other city in the world.
In a statement, it noted that the most requested cities are:

also announced the “19 must-see destinations for 2019", which includes Puebla , Andalusia , Buenos Aires , as well as countries such as Mozambique and Uzbekistan .
The platform highlighted that Puebla is one of the most cosmopolitan destinations in Mexico , where travelers can enjoy traditional Mexican cuisine , visit beautiful churches and several museums .
