Mexican Governor claims the poor are immune to COVID-19

Yesterday, Puebla Governor Miguel Barbosa sparked criticism after saying that the majority of people infected with COVID-19 are “ wealthy . (…) If you are rich you are at risk, if you are poor you are not, we the poor are immune .” However, we’ve been told that the Governor possesses several properties in Mexico City and Puebla , which are worth millions . His portfolio includes a home once owned by President Miguel de la Madrid, which Barbosa bought for MXN $10 million. So Barbosa is quite fortunate: he is rich, has several properties, and he’s also immune to coronavirus . Anyway, we hope Barbosa takes care of himself, the citizens of Puebla need him to be healthy.

The PAN wants answers in regards to the helicopter crash

In the midst of the spread of COVID-19 , PAN members haven’t forgotten that the Communication and Transport Minister Javier Jiménez Espriú promised to reléase the final report of the helicopter accident that killed Puebla Governor Martha Érika Alonso and her husband, Rafael Moreno Valle . According to what Espriú said, the last day to deliver the report is March 31, especially after he said that a group of experts from Mexico, the U.S., Canada, and the European Union were working on a report that would answer all questions and would clear the reasons behind the accident. PAN members said they hope the Minister doesn’t use isolation as an argument to delay the release of the report.

Coronavirus affects political groups

As the emergency sparked by coronavirus worsens, things change in all areas.
