Although November 1 and 2 just passed, celebrations for Day of the Dead continue in Mexico City .
Among the activities, Mexico City’s Culture Ministry expanded “Celebrating eternity,” the first night tour open to the public in Chapultepec Park.
According to the social networks of the event, the night tour in Chapultepec has immersive light installations and ends in the Minor Lake , where a monumental altar will be floating; in addition, there are technological representations of cempasúchil fields and real-size cemeteries.

The entrance is through the Lions Gate from 18:00 to 00:00 and the access is free.
This event, that will take place until November 9 , will be an immersive experience that looks to celebrate those who have already passed away among lights, music, technology, art, and interaction.

One of the activities offered to visitors will be the full-scale projection of a picture of a loved one who has passed away. You just have to send a photograph and obtain a QR code , which will be scanned in front of the lake.
Visitors will be able to make of Chapultepec lake their own altar ; the Culture Ministry launched a website in which people will be able to upload the pictures to be part of the activities of “Celebrating Eternity.”
