
Mexican dancer Isaac Hernández will participate in the 25th anniversary of the prestigious gala “Prix Benois de La Danse,” which will take place tomorrow at the Bolshoi Theatre, in Moscow, Russia.
Hernández, principal dancer of the English National Ballet of London, England, will present his talent in the mythical Russian theater, according to information given by the artist's promoters.
In this way, he will become the first and only Mexican who has performed in 2 of the most important theaters of the Russian Ballet, the Mariinsky Theatre (1783) in Saint Petersburg and the Bolshoi Theatre (1835) in Moscow.
In 2015, Isaac Hernández was invited to interpret the complete production of “Don Quixote” with the Mariinsky Ballet.
As part of this year's activities, the dancer will present next August 12 in the Mexican National Auditorium in Mexico City the show “Awakenings,” which stages dancers coming from the best ballet companies.
