The Mexican Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luis Videgaray Caso, began a working visit to Miami, Florida, where he will meet businessmen and local leaders, such as the Mayor of Miami-Dade County, Carlos Giménez, and the president of the University of Miami, Julio Frenk.
Videgaray Caso will also have an interview with the Board of Directors of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and will visit the Mexican general consulate in Miami, where he will gather with members of the diplomatic representation and will hand the first birth certificate in Florida to a minor not registered in Mexico.
Afterward, the Minister will participate in the seminar Mexico Day in Miami, organized by The Miami Herald and journalist Andrés Oppenheimer; later, will meet members of the Ibero-America Telecommunication Organization (OTI) with whom he will discuss their points of views about the region.
The state of Florida is Mexico's tenth commercial partner among the United States after their trade amounted to USD$8.614 million in 2016.
After his visit to Miami, Videgaray will travel to Washington and participate in the OAS Meeting of Consultation of Ministers of Foreign Affairs next Wednesday 29, in which Venezuela's situation will be analyzed.
