
Top trade officials from Donald Trump's administration are evaluating the incorporation of an exchange clause in the NAFTA renegotiation, which could serve as a model for future deals, said U.S. Senator Ron Wyden on Wednesday.
In a press conference, after a meeting between Senators, U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, and Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross, Wyden stated that the officials remarked that one of the objectives was to solve exchange issues.
