Diego Luna and Willem Dafoe have been invited to the 32th edition of the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) to be celebrated next March 10 in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
Both actors will talk about the state of cinema in the Trump era, “They are both old friends to the Festival, we hope that Willem will also participate in an open event with young creators and that Diego participates in a special screening of Rogue One”, said Iván Trujillo director of the festival.
Dafoe will participate in a special screening of My Hindu friend, the last film of Argentinian director, Héctor Barbenco, who passed away last year.
For his part, Diego Luna has requested to present the Silver Mayahuel, which is the highest recognition awarded by the Guadalajara International Film Festival, to Mexican actress, producer and indigenous groups activist, Ofelia Medina.
