
Six police officers were abducted by a group of armed men in the municipality of Madera, located in the northern state of Chihuahua, the state prosecutor's office informed.
According to initial reports, the officers were overpowered and disarmed by the gunmen, who arrived in several vehicles at the police station headquarters.
The whereabouts of the six police officers still unknown.
State police arrived at the crime scene to start the investigation and launch a search operation for the officers.
