Tropical Storm Seymour strengthened into Category 1 hurricane on Monday morning in the Pacific off Mexico's coast, according to the National Water Commission (Conagua).
On its official Twitter account, the commission said that the hurricane will bring heavy rains in western Mexico.
Seymour is centered off the coast of Colima and Michoacán.
