Another priest kidnapped, now in Michoacán

Catholic Church officials in Mexico announced the kidnapping of priest José Alfredo López Guillén in Michoacán.

The Archdiocese of Morelia said the priest was kidnapped Monday from his parish residence in the town of Janamuato, Michoacán, they also said that his residence was robbed.

“We plead that the life and physical integrity of the priest be respected" the Archdiocese said on its social networks.

On Sunday, September 18, two priests were kidnapped and killed in Poza Rica, Veracruz.
