The meeting was announced yesterday, after President Enrique Peña Nieto sent an invitation to the U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and the Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Hours later, a group of people gathered at the Angel of Independence monument to protest against the visit of Trump after the remarks he made about Mexicans and immigrants at the beginning of his campaign.
"Stop the offenses”, “We have dignity”, "You are not welcome" reads some of the banners carried by the demonstrators.
The protesters demand that Peña Nieto cancels the meeting with the U.S. mogul.
