Mexican actress Evita Muñoz "Chachita" died at age 79, according to journalist Mara Patricia Castañeda.
"On Tuesday 24 around 5:30 pm, our beloved Evita Muñoz “Chachita” passed away. All my love to her husband Hugo Macotela," she wrote a few minutes ago on her Twitter account.
Last June "Chachita" was in intensive care due to respiratory problems.
