
Minister of Foreign Affairs Claudia Ruiz Massieu expressed her condolences to Germany for the attack occurred in Munich that left at least eight dead and several wounded.
Through her Twitter account, she said that “we are following the development of the situation in #Munich, to protect and assist Mexicans in Germany, if necessary."
"I expressed my solidarity with the German people after the unfortunate events in #Munich. I send my condolences to the families of the victims," wrote Ruiz Massieu in another tweet.
Mexican Foreign Affairs Ministry made available a safety checklist to know the status of its citizens in Germany.
