Dissident teachers prepare for march in Mexico City

Members of the National Education Workers Coordination (CNTE) are gathering at the monument known as the Angel of the Independence, in central Mexico City, in order to march to the midtown esplanade of El Zócalo.

The teachers arrived on bus, which are being parked in the nearby streets.

According to the authorities, it is expected that vehicular chaos will be caused by the teachers and they called the motorists to follow indications for alternative routes.
