Mexico would intervene in case of peso deviation, speculation

Mexico's Finance Minister Luis Videgaray said on Friday that authorities would intervene in currency markets immediately if they detected speculation against the peso.

"If we see deviations in the exchange rate, obvious speculation against the Mexican peso, of course we are ready to intervene and we would do it immediately," Videgaray told local radio.
