Mexico's Chamber of Deputies signed a collaboration agreement with the Center for Research and Training in Economics (CIDE) to improve its accountability and access to information systems.
“It will be a small revolution,” said Sergio López Ayllón, director of the CIDE.
López explained that congressmen will have to inform about the use given to resources and all their benefits, including travel and transportation expenses, legislative aid, vehicles and mobiles.
The transparency website will also be modernized with the help of the Research and Innovation Center on Information Technologies and Communication (Infotec).
