Although José Luis Montenegro released the recordings of his interview with Rosa Isela Guzmán, the alleged daughter of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán said she has never met with a reporter from The Guardian.
"No one has come to my house; once I spoke with a person but it was not by telephone or personally, it was on Facebook," she said in an interview with Adela Micha.
"I think some things are true and some are lies," she said about the interview and added that Montenegro should show photographs of their meeting. She added that she had cancer and has been operated on twice.
Rosa Isela also said that she has not met Lucero Sánchez, a Sinaloa congresswoman that has been linked to “El Chapo”, neither Ismael “El Mayo" Zambada.
Today Lucero Sánchez said in a written testimony to the Chamber of Deputies that the request filed by Mexico's Attorney General's Office (PGR) to withdraw her immunity has to do with the state elections that will be held on June 5.
