EPN welcomes Italy's prime minister

President Enrique Peña Nieto welcomed Matteo Renzi, Italy's prime minister, in our country for a state visit.

Renzi came accompanied with representatives of Italian firms with presence in Mexico.

Italy is Mexico's third trade partner among the members of the European Union and 11th. worldwide. In 2015 trade between the two countries reached 6.78 billion dollars.

Between 1999 and 2015, Italy has invested 846.5 million dollars in Mexico.
