Formal prison for son of former Mexican governor

A federal judge ordered the formal prison of Fabián Granier, son of the former governor of Tabasco, Andrés Granier Melo, under charges of tax fraud.

Fabián Granier is currently in a federal prison, accused of fraud for some US$120,386 on his annual Income Tax statement for 2011.

Granier was arrested on April 8 in the district of Coyoacán, in Mexico City.
