'Chicharito' meets with President Peña Nieto in Berlin

Mexican international striker Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández received an invitation from the president of Germany Joachim Gauck to participate in the launch of the 'German-Mexican year' in Berlin.

The Mexican striker and his girlfriend Lucía Villalón met with President Enrique Peña Nieto and his wife Angélica Rivera de Peña at a state banquet in the German capital.

'Chicharito' gave President Enrique Peña Nieto a jersey of the Bayer Leverkusen autographed by him.

After the meeting, the president wrote on his twitter account "your passion and perseverance deserve our admiration, @CH14_. Keep your head up, @Mexico is with you."
