Suspected pedophile arrested on the way to Mexico City

The Office of the Attorney General of the state of Tabasco reported the arrest of suspected pedophile Juan Vicente Hernández León, who was recorded while abusing of his under-six-year-old daughter in a restaurant.

The man was found Sunday in the city of Toluca, State of Mexico, and after a lengthy interrogation he was released, only to be considered a fugitive the next day.

On Twitter, the agency reported that the arrest order was executed by the Federal Police on a bus to Mexico City this afternoon, on the Mexico-Puebla highway.

Previously, Attorney General Fernando Valenzuela Pernas reported that the suspect was found in the State of Mexico, as well as the allegedly abused girl, who he seems to be touching in an improper manner in a video recorded in a restaurant in the city of Villahermosa.

The man was presented before the authorities Sunday and after several hours he was released due to an appeal. On Monday, a judge presented an arrest order against him.

Currently, the girl is under the custody of the Family Development Institute and a judge will determine who will be her custodian.
