The reported air quality in six municipalities of the State of Mexico and seven districts of Mexico City is under the official norm of 100 points, according to the authorities.
The norm is based on the concentration of polluting particles determined by the Atmospherical Monitoring Agency, which reported Ecatepec de Morelos, a municipality of the State of Mexico, as the most polluted, with 122.
Chalco, also in the State of Mexico, presents 120 points, followed by Tlalnepantla, with 113; Tultitlán, with 109; Tepotzotlán, with 107, and Acolman, with 104.

According to the agency, the metropolitan district with the worst air quality is Venustiano Carranza, with 113, followed by Iztapalapa, with 110; Azcapotzalco, with 106; Benito Juárez and Cuauhtémoc, with 103, and Milpa Alta and Tláhuac, with 101.
The authorities called the population to avoid prolonged exercise in the outside and keep children and older people under care.
