The owners of the Colosseum Centenario of the city of Torreón, through their representative Arturo Gilio Hamdan, reported that a fire which consumed virtually the whole of the building Friday night was caused by pyrotechnics used by the "Jinetes Supremos" show.
In a statement issued today, the owners pointed out that both audience and staff were evacuated in time by the local security people and the Department of Civil Protection of Torreón.
They also thanked the fire brigades and citizens who aided in putting out the fire.
