Alejandro Sanz interrupted a concert in Rosarito, Baja California, to defend a woman that was being mistreated by a man.
Videos shared on social networks showed that the Spanish singer stepped down from the stage to rebuke a man for mistreating a woman.
“You don't do that,” Sanz said to the man.
The man was eventually escorted out from the concert hall by security staff after people around him started to shout that he should be expelled.
Sanz apologized for the interruption and said that he did could not stand that a woman is mistreated, a statement that was cheered by the audience.
