The Office of the Attorney General of the State of Guerrero is investigating the possible links between police officer Francisco Javier Gómez and organized crime, after his gun and badge were found in one of the getaway cars used by the killers of Gisela Mota, Mayor of Temixco.
State Attorney General Xavier Olea Pérez pointed out that the above-mentioned police officer has been missing since December 14 and that so far there are no links between him and organized crime.
"He was on his day off when he was apparently kidnapped in Alpuyeca on December 14. We are investigating this case," he said.
