America returns to the path of victory

It wasn't spectacular to say the least, but Águilas America returned to the path of victory defeating Jaguares Chiapas by a score of 2-1, in a rather unattractive game on date 12 of the Apertura tournament held in the Azteca stadium.

Paul Aguilar, on the 20, and Ecuadorian Michael Arroyo, on the 47, sealed the victory for Águilas. Diego de la Torre had tied things momentarily for Chiapas on the 24. With this result, America obtained 21 points, while Jaguares ended with 16.

After falling in the "national classic" versus Chivas and then be humiliated by León, the Águilas had to go for victory and nothing else.
