Fuentes will not assume control of Chivas: lawyer

Javier Coello Trejo, lawyer of Jorge Vergara, said that the legal dispute between his client and Angélica Fuentes is being discussed at the Supreme Court of Justice, and that he does not know when it will issue a ruling.

"The controversy is so strong that the Supreme Court is discussing the case. We do not know when it will be solved,” Coello said in a radio interview with Ciro Gómez Leyva.

He explained that Vergara's wife will not take over as CEO of Chivas Group and Grupo Omnilife because she has only obtained "precautionary measures" from the fifth judge, but not from the tenth.

“She can not assume control of anything because legally she has nothing,” Coello explained.
