Representatives of the Office of the Attorney General (PGR) held a meeting with members of the collective Network of Mothers Looking for their Children, to address cases of disappearances.
Headed by the Assistant Attorney for Human Rights, Crime Prevention and Community Services, Eber Omar Betanzos Torres, the meeting ended with an agreement to have the Specialized Unit for the Search for Missing Persons (UEBPD) to establish workgroups for cases in Tamaulipas.
Also, it was agreed that the PGR will provide information on its preliminary inquiries in this regard.
The event was also attended by the Special Prosecutor for Crimes of Violence Against Women and Human Trafficking, Angela Quiroga Quiroga, and the head of the UEBPD, Miguel Severino Chávez.
