Agents of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) and the Public Prosecutor's Office seized about 9 pounds of methamphetamine in Sonora and arrested two men.
The Attorney General's Office (PGR) explained that the agents were conducting a routine traffic stop when they found the drug hidden inside a vehicle's air conditioning compressor.
According to the investigation, the driver and his companion were traveling from Guadalajara to Tijuana, Baja California.
The two men and the drug were made available to the Public Prosecutor's Office to follow up the investigations.
