George Clooney says that Trump's statements about Mexicans are “idiotic”

American actor George Clooney said that Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump’s description of Mexican immigrants as “rapists” and “criminals” is “idiotic”.

“Anybody who says as intolerant words as those should be laughed at and that’s pretty much what history will do,” Clooney said at the presentation of “Our Brand in Crisis” at the Toronto Film Festival.
