The authorities in Baja California Sur ruled out any damage after this morning earthquakes in the Gulf of California, which were felt in some areas of the state capital of La Paz.
Alfonso Gómez de la Peña, deputy director for Civil Protection, expressed that the 6.7 degree earthquake was reported in the sea, and while it was felt in the southern part of the peninsula there were no damages.
The local authorities have begun to increase the flow of information about earthquakes through social networks, emphasizing the measures that the citizenship needs to take before this type of event.
