The Attorney General of Mexico City ordered the formal prison of Abraham Torres Tranquilino for his possible involvement in last month's murders in the neighborhood of Narvarte, where photojournalist Rubén Espinosa was killed along four women.
The agency added that it can't "present further details on the investigation" due to an order by a district judge.
One month after the murders, the agency reiterated its commitment to human rights, due process and the proper implementation of the precautionary measures requested by the Commission on Human Rights of Mexico City.
