Remittances to Mexico rise 3.9% in the first half

In the first half of 2015 remittances to Mexico totaled 12.08 billion dollars, 3.98% more than in the same period last year.

The Bank of Mexico reported that most of these remittances were sent through electronic transfers, i.e. 11.62 billion dollars.

On average, Mexicans who live or work in the United States sent US$ 294.

In June remittances rose 6.11% to 2.16 billion dollars compared to 2.04 billion dollars in the same month in 2014.
