Donald Trump will have to apologize: Basáñez

The recent behaviour of U.S. tycoon Donald Trump, expressing himself against the Mexican community in his country, is a result of his campaign for the Republican ticket, expressed Miguel Basáñez, the proposed new ambassador of Mexico.

He also called into question Trump's political afilliation, since he has changed it five times already.

"He knows pretty well that what he is saying is false, Trump knows pretty well that he will have to apologize with Mexicans and that what he is doing know is just part of the pre-campaigns," he said.

Basáñez presented himself before the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Senate, to ask for his ratification as ambassador as designated by President Enrique Peña Nieto, which was well received by the U.S. government. It is expected that he will be confirmed on Monday.
