Over 17 kilos of crystal meth seized in Querétaro

The Attorney General's Office (PGR) seized 17.4 kilograms (around 37.5 pounds) of crystal meth and arrested three people in Querétaro.

In a statement, the PGR said that drug was found during a routine inspection of a passenger bus with support from a specialized canine in detecting narcotics and explosives.

13 plastic packages wrapped with tape containing the drug were found inside the bus.

Detainees and the drug were available to the Public Prosecutor's Office to continue with the investigation for crimes against health.
