Carson, who gained five points after the debate last August 6 is closely followed by Texas Senator Ted Cruz, with 10%.
The former governor of Florida, Jeb Bush, was relegated to the fourth position with 9%, after losing six points from the previous survey.

Former CEO of Hewlett-Packard Carly Fiorina got 5%, after a three-point gain from the debate.
In the Democrat field, Clinton remained at the head of the preferences with a comfortable advantage over independent Senator Bernie Sanders, who has been steadily gaining ground in recent weeks, according to the survey.
Clinton appeared this time with a support of 49% followed closely by Sanders with 30, although two weeks ago the former secretary of State maintained an advantage of 29 percentage points.
