EPN runs 6.2 miles in 50 minutes

With an unofficial time of 50 minutes 50 seconds, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto ran 6.2 miles in the V Molino del Rey Race of the General Staff in the park of Chapultepec. On June 26, Peña Nieto has his gallbladder extracted in an emergency procedure. "I am very happy to have participated in this race," expressed the President. The Minister of Health Mercedes Juan López commented that "it is impressive from the medical point of view, as this was done less than two months after the surgery." This is the third race with the participation of Peña Nieto and it is organized by the head of the General Staff, Roberto Miranda Moreno. The former heads of the agency, Arturo Cardona Marino, Roberto Miranda Sánchez and Jesús Castillo Cabrera participated in the race.
