Peña Nieto trusts that 'El Chapo' will be arrested

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto expressed that the only way to respond to the "aggravation" caused by the escape of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán would be arresting him and punish those who helped him.

“This is a specific call I am making to the security areas of the Mexican government, and I am sure and I am fully confident that, as there was bravery, courage and determination from our armed forces and the security areas of the federal authority last year to arrest him, there will be the same to detain him now," he said.

This noon, as his first activity after returning from a state visit to France, Peña Nieto met in Los Pinos with the Minister of the Interior, Miguel Ángel Osorio; Attorney General Arely Gómez, and the National Security Commissioner, Monte Alejandro Rubido.
