Popocatépetl spews 73 exhalations

According no the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred) in the last 24 hours the monitoring system of Popocatépetl volcano registered 73 low-intensity exhalations, some of them accompanied by steam, gas and ash.

One volcanotectonic earthquake yesterday at 16:23 pm was also recorded. 

Incandescence above the crater was observed at night. 

At the time of this report, the volcano has a light emission of steam and gas.

The Volcanic Traffic Light remains at Yellow Phase 2.
