Tamaulipas Coordination Group (GCT) reported that Saturday afternoon gunmen fired at the headquarters of the Municipal Executive Committee of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) in Matamoros, Tamaulipas.
According to the official statement of the GCT, there were no casualties after the attack to the PRI offices in Matamoros.
The attack occurred at about 5 pm in San Francisco neighborhood.
Members of the Ministry of National Defense (SEDENA), Mexican Navy, Federal Police Force and Tamaulipas rushed to the scene to locate those responsible for the attack.
