Rodrigo Vallejo Mora, son of Fausto Vallejo, the former governor of Michoacán, has left the Assistant Attorney General's Office for Special Investigations on Organized Crime (SEIDO), after 96 hours under interrogation.
According to official sources, a new investigation was opened against Vallejo Mora for organized crime, and after his lengthy stay before the authorities he could be called again.
It should be pointed out that the son of Fausto Vallejo is under process for concealment, after refusing to provide information related to Servando Gómez Martínez "La Tuta", the former leader of the Knights Templar cartel, currently in jail.
On the other hand, the defense of Vallejo Mora submitted a complaint of arbitrary detention before the National Commission on Human Rights (CNDH).
"There is no evidence against him, we are confident that he will leave the SEIDO. His arrest was illegal," expressed Raúl Miranda, part of the lawyer team of Vallejo Mora.
